Dennis Cheesebrow
Principal
With more than 20 years of experience serving the education, faith, government, business and human service marketplaces, Dennis Cheesebrow brings a broad array of experience in coaching, consulting, leadership and systems development to each client and audience. His direct style is sprinkled with humor, abundance and a deep appreciation for the human dynamics and potential in organizations and communities. In the Catholic Church, Dennis Cheesebrow has served the local parish and Catholic School in its Parish Finance Councils, Parish Pastoral Councils, liturgical music ministries, Catholic School Advisory Councils, Faith Formation Committees, Communication Committees, Capital Campaign Committees and Pastoral Staff Search Committees. He has developed and facilitated diocesan-wide pastoral planning initiatives, Catholic Schools planning initiatives, assessment and redesign of Diocesan Offices and consultative structures as well as operational performance assessment, improvement and transition management services. He has provided individualized coaching and support to pastors, principals and ministry directors. Dennis has authored a book released in 2012 titled Partnership; Redefined: Leadership through the Power of & as well as the Educational Leadership System Guidebook (2009) and the FrameWorks Guidebook (2009). He was a contributing author to the book, Voices From The Field: An Introduction to Human Systems Dynamics in 2003. He also holds three U.S. Patents from his 17 years at 3M as an engineer, research laboratory manager and marketing/business manager prior to founding TeamWorks International, Inc.
Alan J. Erickson
Principal
With over 35 years of financial and operational management experience, Alan Erickson serves as Managing Director, overseeing the process of providing quality services and counsel to each client. Al brings a broad and deep array of experiences in consulting, analysis, and executive coaching in both the private and public marketplaces.
Christine Wroblewski
Senior Consultant
Christine Wroblewski, senior consultant at TeamWorks International, is a seasoned advisor, executive, and strategic communications practitioner for public and non-profit organizations. Christine guides organizations and the people in them to connect and communicate more effectively by developing a deeper capacity for analysis, planning, prioritization, and development. Her areas of expertise include strategic communications, issue identification and change management, stakeholder analysis, and stakeholder engagement. She has worked inside and alongside service-focused organizations since 1993. As Chief Community Relations Officer for Saint Paul Public Schools, Christine lead the transformation of the office from a communications-only focus to a broader community relations and engagement focus. While there, she also assisted in two superintendent searches and three superintendent transitions; actively supported two successful school referendum campaigns; and advocated successfully for the development of a year-round, cross-departmental outreach team to have a more positive and regular presence in the community. Christine’s projects have included guiding organizations through change processes and major decision-making efforts with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement; conducting needs assessments; strategic communications consulting; focus group facilitation on a number of topics; individual and cohort coaching grounded in TeamWorks’ proprietary FrameWorks™; and project coordination and facilitation of groups small and large. Christine is a two-time alumnus of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Leadership and Management of Public and Nonprofit Organizations from the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.
Dr. Julie Goldsmith
Senior Consultant
Julie Goldsmith, senior consultant at TeamWorks International, blends her experience across multiple arenas to assist clients in the areas of partnership skills, strategic growth, personality and motivation, and systemic alignment and accountability. Julie’s 13 years with SIMA International was an opportunity to assist a spectrum of clients in understanding their personal motivation, career planning, and team and organizational dynamics. Julie’s projects have included: Strategic and tactical planning grounded in organizational Vision; VisionCard accountability systems development and implementation to ensure continuous improvement knowledge and capacity development; customizing leadership development for clients through the Frameworks® Partnership Series; market research, application, and implementation of Strategic Planning; Individual and cohort coaching grounded in TeamWorks’ proprietary FrameWorks™ and Organizational Development theory; certified presenter of the Personality Color Inventory and its application through TeamWorks’ Four Color View; and, Critical Position Benchmarks to assure job-fit in key hires or restructuring. Julie has a Doctorate of Education in Organization Development from the University of St. Thomas. She received a Masters of Arts in Teaching and her Minnesota K-12 Principal Licensure from the University of St. Thomas and her undergraduate in Organizational Studies from Bethel University. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at University of St. Thomas with access to an array of national research databases.
Rich Swanson
Insight Services Manager, Research Analyst
Rich joined TeamWorks International in the fall of 2009 as the manager of our Insight Research Department. He holds a B.S. in geology from Winona State University and a Masters in geography from Hunter College of the City University in New York. Rich’s extensive background and experience in private business, military, government, k-12 public education, post-secondary education, faith-based organizations and various non-profit industries has allowed him to develop unique insight and a system approach to serving a wide range of client needs. Rich also serves as faculty at Southeast Technical College where he teaches courses on Physical and World Regional Geography.
Matt Pohl
Geospatial Technology Manager
Matt began working with TeamWorks International in March of 2010. He has a B.S. in geography from the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse and a Masters in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Before joining TeamWorks, Matt was the GIS coordinator for Buffalo County, WI. Matt works hand-in-hand with TeamWorks’ clients in helping them discover relationships within their data and ensuring efficacy in future planning. Matt is responsible for the development, deployment and administration of Insight Online, TeamWorks’ web-based mapping and analytical tool.
Connie Buberl
Office Manager/Project Support
Connie joined TeamWorks International in 2012 as an administrator with a background in record keeping, finance, and office management. She previously worked with SIMA International and the US Bank branch both located in Stillwater, MN.
Judy M. Logan
Financial Consultant
Judy Logan is a CPA with extensive professional experience in the fields of accounting, tax and nonprofit management. During her career, she has worked with KPMG and Deluxe Corporation, as well as serving as the full-time business administrator for a parish in suburban St. Paul. Since joining CFC, Judy has concentrated her efforts primarily in the areas of financial and operational management for Catholic Schools. As such, she has been the catalyst for the extremely successful Excellence in Catholic Education initiative instituted by CFC. In addition, Judy spends considerable time training parishes and schools in the areas of accounting policy and best practices. Judy is a graduate of St. Cloud State University and in her spare time is pursuing a Master’s in Nonprofit Management at Hamline University in St. Paul.
Michael Laughery
Financial Consultant
Mike Laughery brings over 20 years of broad-based financial and management experience to his role as Financial Consultant at CFC. He has worked in the past with John Deere, Pioneer, and the National Pork Board. In addition, just prior to joining CFC, he served as the business administrator for a parish in the Minneapolis suburbs. His specialized expertise in financial management, church management, sales and marketing, technology utilization, and building and leading teams has been instrumental to CFC’s service of Catholic parishes and schools. A graduate of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, Mike enjoys playing “hobby farmer” at night and works with his wife Renee to raise their most valuable crop: their five children.
Dorfha Vang
Analytical Staff Supervisor
Dorfha joined CFC in 2007. Her primary responsibilities include providing and coordinating analytical support to CFC’s Financial Consultants, creating and maintaining our computerized financial models, and assisting with client needs. Dorfha’s keen intellect and laser-like attention to detail are valued greatly by our parish and school clients. Dorfha came to CFC from a major financial advisory firm where she was a project manager and financial analyst for six years. Prior to that, Dorfha spent seven years in customer service for a large insurance firm. Dorfha holds a BA in Business Management from Bethel University.
Mary Vang
Financial Analysit
Mary joined CFC in 2013. Her primary responsibilities include assisting and supporting the analytical staff supervisor and financial consultants, and creating and maintaining necessary financial models that allow CFC to effectively serve its clients. Prior to joining CFC, Mary worked for CenturyLink for 11 years, where her most recent role was as an analyst. Mary has a Bachelor of Arts degree in management and a Master’s degree in business administration from Concordia University. In her free time, Mary enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family.
